I always found that the bass clarity snapped into focus with Maggies when you stacked the panel inline with the sub driver. I owned 1.5's improved modded for many years that sat on top of largeish sealed subs. Worked good. The mmg and 1.6 are great contenders for panels with cone subs stacked. But in plane and inline drivers are the best integration as per MLogan et all. The Tympany for a subs is a great idea, if you could spare a killowatt or two. TC
