Thank you for the response and the info. I'll check out the web site and get the speaker repaired. It really surprised me when I saw this fine tear but I guess it shouldn't have given the age of the speakers. Recently I've been considering purchasing some Spendor speakers to try something different and this will hasten my decision but I'll keep these as a second system as I've had them for so long.
