energy veritas v2.3, good,great,amazing or not good, crap or horrible?

i have read feedback and comments about this speaker. some say it's great, others say it's crap. some say it's design is bunk, some say it's well engineered. how could this be? are these opinions reality or unfounded. i have owned them for about 5 months and find them to be wonderfull. they do seem to be very revealing. recording qualty is emphasized as are upstream devices. are all speakers and all compenents for that matter reviewed with such variances? it seems to me that the more opinions sought the greater the extreme of the reviews... what is your opinion on these speakers, and exactly why?
