i got a pair of dm12s back in 1980 or so. i remember the dealer having the dm14s as well. like you say, great sound. still got my dm12s and they still sound good and no problems either. the dm12s evolved into the dm1200s. i don't know if the 14s were then discontinued or also updated. made me into a loyal b&w customer.
