White Bicycles. Toward the end he gets on a good roll about the times and the energies and the mind set of that creative period of music. Amazingly, he was there AND he remembers it too!!
One episode that has apparently been lost and not recorded was when (1970) Fairport played the Troubadour in LA and Linda Rondstadt was asked up to join them....she said she did not know their songs and they told her that was ok, they (FC) knew all of hers. a super 45 minute joint session followed that is apparently not bootlegged.
A good read, now on to the Doc Pomus book.
