On Dream Letter, which I think is the first time he played with Danny Thompson, between songs you can hear TB humming the melodies to DT and every time away they go.
You know the story of the BBC session with just the two of them where after being asked to set up so the crew could check levels, camera angles, etc, Buckley and Thompson took off and improvised for 45 minutes non-stop. The crew were speechless.
The director immediately thought he had shot the best music footage of all time and turned to the cameraman just as the musicians were packing up and as he looked at him, the cameraman said "Did you want me to roll the film?".
