I'm sad that a guitar takes the place of Wendy's vocals. When i was younger and sadder her singing made me most melancholy at a time when i loved to wallow in melancholia. I won't buy the remaster, i only want the original version. Records aren't just the music recorded on them, they're the day you first heard a track on the radio, the day you went and bought the record and you walked out aimlessly around town on an endless summer evening with the thought of adolescent despair in your mind.
Remasters and demos and acoustic versions fuck all that up. I hate them. "here's your youth repackaged and remastered and bollocks to your emotions" Paddy should have just let these go out for free downloads on a fansite.
