I disagree with you a lot Outside & sometimes I think you do yrself a disservice. On this board, outside of what I thought was an irrational reaction to something just because you didn't like it, I think you're one of the best posters here.

I don't know what drives the other guy, but it's unfortunate. I can't imagine anyone thinks he's in the right in the battles you engage in on this board. But that's probably further than I need to be involved.

I can't think of anyone who posts more about new music here than you, and I wouldn't care even if you were a paid shill, because people can decide on their own what they think about something. It's rather obvious you're a long way from a street-teamer. Actually I think a new type of street-teamer for a different demographic wouldn't be such a bad idea, even if it did mean we were talking about a 'paid shill.' The problem with a lot of rock music for anyone remotely near middle age is that there's so little of it that one's likely to hear unless they work at it. You've got a good bead on singer-songwriters & stuff in that vein, alt-country, Americana, whatever, and if someone takes issues with yr posts, I think there's way more good there than bad.

Outside is a different story even though I basically agree with something like half of what it is you're trying to get across. The issue with the gentleman on this board is annoying, but what can you do.
