...I don't know about a live CD, but saw them live a couple of summers ago touring with Earth, Wind and Fire. Peter Cetera and Phillip Bailey both, IIRC.They repeated the tour again last summer.
It was a terrific show and at the end both bands got together onstage and took turns doing their hits.
As for great sound, I still enjoy Chicago's Greatest Hits (remastered) double CD from a few years ago.
