I didn't read that she has any contention that there's no good music today in anything she said, just that she came to hate music, mainly do to her music biz experiences. She doesn't really make any distinction between good or bad music, just that she hated it. Sounds like she was very burned out.I agree about Hejira, probably my favorite of her recordings. It will be interesting to hear a new recording from her, as a songwriter time could be on her side. With all that smoking though, she may sound a bit rough around the edges!
