With his whiskey stained sounding tenor full of resignation and weariness and singing of despair, hope, methadrine, hurricanes and the condition of our national psyche, he sucked me into his work. As I said several years ago, he is the Neil Young of this decade.
He is not of, but rather likes the Bay Area. He cannot stand anyone who frees drunk drivers.
He is a nice fellow and a great act to see, either solo or with anyone he decides to sing with....A delightful CD.
