That double set is an ear opener. Great contrast btwn disc 1 and 2. Certainly one of the finer bands to ever spring from the bowels of New York. Byrne is one of them people like Jagger and David Crosby and Grace Slick, to name 3 quickly, whose eyes when looked into just reach deep into your soul and play with it and get their feed and then...bam...out again. Hard to explain this, but I think you get my meaning. Their is nothing wrong with this, it is a two way street after all.
TH were masters at getting into your monkey brain with their rhythms and percussion. Deeply voodoo inspired.....somebody had to have gone to the crossroads to get that ability......
