Saw an amazing concert last nite...

...Brian Wilson with Al Jardine doing Pet Sounds. Since this may be his last performance of this, I hope some of you had the opportunity to see this tour.

First, I graduated from high in 1965 when the Beach Boys and Beatles were battling back and forth for number one.

I've seen the Beach Boys three times - the whole touring band in 1983 or so just before Dennis died, and the Mike Love/Bruce Johnston poor imitations twice, once with Carl before he died of cancer.

This performance was amazing - a 10 piece group backing Brian. 'Good Vibrations' was incredible. He got a standing ovation after 'God Only Knows'.

Brian was a little shaky at times, but who cares.

And they played just about every Beach Boy song you can think of and some you didn't.
