I seem to remember Lowell George saying Glen Phillips was his favourite guitar player. I could be wrong.
I met GP years later when he was supporting Steve Hillage and he thought I wanted to know all about his guitar style and all I wanted was to say I thought he was great. Jeeez that was a boring conversation!!!! I am sure he agrees.
