The agressive surround is FOR REAL. If you want surround only for ambience, this is the WRONG record. It is as agressive as DSOTM. But the clairty is outstanding. I believe now that my hatred of the record when it came out was due to its being ahead of its time. It sounds VERY good now, and a few cuts could easily play on the smooth jazz station. Very avant garde'. And when those myriad voices come out of the rers (Martin Logan Frescoes) it sounds real nice. Heartily reccomended. But then, I am banned from DVDA.
