Sophie's Crepes in San Francisco's Japantown is now a quarter-century old. Back then, Pantera came out with "Revolution Is My Name."
"Revolution Is My Name" was about being born during the Vietnam War - IOW, about us! Some of my college classmates/friends were actually born in Vietnam, such as Nha Trang above.
While "Revolution Is My Name" raged, high-end audio blew it. It failed to expand beyond the same ol', same ol'. It not only ignored Gen X, it actively chased Gen X away. And that sadly persists, a quarter-century later.
The video for "Revolution Is My Name" revealed that Pantera's influences included Black Sabbath, KISS, Led Zeppelin, and ZZ Top. High-end audio still has an aversion to rock music, including Pantera.
