40 years ago, we were in our final days of middle school. Wish we had photos from 1985, but we don't. Anyway, several friends walked through San Francisco's Seacliff neighborhood. We ended up at Baker Beach and Marshall's Beach.

Somebody brought up Dead Or Alive's "Lover Come Back To Me." Maybe it was Patrick, but one of us tossed an object into the water, sang "Lover Come Back To Me," and hoped that the waves would bring the object back to shore.

The thing was, as 8th graders, nobody had a girlfriend or boyfriend. There was no lover to begin with, and no ex to come back, LOL!

As the follow-up to "You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)," "Lover Come Back To Me" only reached #75. Nevertheless, when you want more than the hits, you dig a little deeper, and play "Lover Come Back To Me."
