Eh, today's cameras still struggle with night shots. Anyway, 45 years ago, I had older neighbors, who went to Mission High (across the street from Dolores Park ,above), in San Francisco. These neighbors had Genesis' Duke, whose leadoff track, "Behind The Lines," was one of our faves. We did not hear it that often then, and then it disappeared.
On Phil Collins' 1981 solo album, Face Value, he did a weird and funky version of "Behind The Lines."
Ah, but then I was in college (UC Santa Cruz, above) during the early-1990s. There, a small number of dormmies had Duke on cassette. And that inspired more of us to get it on CD.
Thanks to internet radio and Bluetooth, we now hear and enjoy Genesis' "Behind The Lines" in the car. Yup, some of our kids are now in college.
