Not the best of timing, Bell Biv DeVoe came out with "Do Me," in early summer 1990. Had it come out any other season, when school was in session, it would have been a college favorite. That said, during that summer of 1990, I took a class at Hawaii Pacific University. Two of my classmates, Paola and Gabby, lived together and were my study buddies. Both were from Brazil, and ranked "Do Me" slightly above average.

But the time the Fall 1990 quarter/semseter started, "Do Me" had faded from the charts. Nevertheless, that song enticed everyone to have sex.
