My dad and all of his siblings (2 sisters and 1 brother) all graduated from USF. USF did not go coed, until 1964. So my aunts attended what was then Lone Mountain College.

But 45 years ago, some of my older neighbors and relatives attended USF.

During the Spring 1980 semester, a relative's roommate had Rush's Permanent Waves, which included "The Spirit Of Radio." At the time, I was in third grade, and hadn't really heard anything like "The Spirit Of Radio." It lamented the fact that corporations were taking over radio programming.

Today, corporations own FM stations. So we usually have to find independent radio stations on the internet. That said, Bay Area radio stations do play Rush's "The Spirit Of Radio," arguably more than they did, back in 1980.
