From Classic Rock to Progessive to hip hop to today's hot new tunes!

Honestly, I did not hear (or at least have the ability to identify) Freddy Cannon's "Action," until Fall 1992. At UC Santa Cruz, I had an Adcom GTP-400 tuner/preamp. The tuner was able to bring in some Central California coast "Oldies" radio station, which did play "Action."

And of course, the upbeat "Action" provided further motivation, for us to hit the beaches, where we threw each other into the ocean.

My other college friends had not heard "Action," which came out 60 years ago. A couple others, who were from SoCal, had recalled hearing Freddy Cannon's "Palisades Park," so it was nice, to add a second Cannon song.
