Tanya Donelly, "Just In Case You Quit Me"

While the March 1993 Stereophile in San Francisco was taking place, Belly's "Feed The Tree" was an alt-rock hit. But nobody had it, so we did not get to hear it, at the Show.

20 years ago, I was working in San Francisco, and coworkers discovered that Belly's lead singer, Tanya Donelly, had a solo song, "Just In Case You Quit Me." Its stripped-down sound was not what we were expecting, from Belly. But in my daily chats with audiophiles, this is actually what a lot of the middle-aged guys now prefer.
