50 years ago, wile most of us were infants, Donny Hathaway came out with Extension Of A Man. My African American neighbors had it. Later in the 70s, its "Come Little Children" seem to gather us neighborhood children.

I would not hear "Come Little Children" again, until the early-90s, when I was in dorms at UC Santa Cruz. The 70s were making a comeback, and Donny Hathaway was a part of that. I recently went back, and the bathroom sinks now have hand soap dispensers. And you kind of forget that our 1970s childhood was over 40 years ago.
