In 2008, New Kids On The Block released "Summertime," their first single since the mid-90s. Moreover, they chose VH1, to release a bikini-clad video. This release helped both the band and VH1.

But it would be years, before any of my friends, relatives, or coworkers would go to a NKOTB concert. Although "Summertime" wasn't all that popular (it peaked at #36), it nevertheless marked NKOTB's rise from the dead.
