My parents bought me a cassette of LZ1 when I was 12.
That was my first proper rock album.
Oops.Looking back at those albums now, maybe Physical Graffiti was the first one where they didn't have anybody sue them for plagiarism ;-)
Presence is the weakest for sure.
In Through The Out Door does hold up amazingly well.LZ1 thru IV are more or less perfect.
I rate PG higher than HOTH.Many LZ songs mark special warm and fuzzy places in my memory banks,
Black Dog is one, because at that time in high school our next door neighbours were musicians and Black Dog intrigued them with its timing changes and out of tuniness.
It sounds far less odd today than it did to my poor suffering LZ blasted neighbours back in the mid 70's ;-)
