I don't know how many Irish wakes I've been to. My first ever drunk was with my cousins at my grandfathers wake when I was 14. My dad and uncles just laughed at and with us.

At my late fathers wake/ funeral my brother and I bought the beer. One of the cousins asked us how much we had bought which was 2 cases. My cousin " Two cases!! don't you know we'll all be there !! Go out and get the rest of it!!" We did need the rest of it.
