Great story! I also didn't know that Whitford played lead on that song. He's a fabulous player. Gives Perry a lot of freedom to do his thing.
Even though Toys in the Attic is probably my favorite Aerosmith album, there's no denying how friggin' great Rocks is. I wish I had the funds to buy that ultra-rare Sony SACD pressing of it!
