...concert I saw Sunday at the Ironstone Amphitheater in Murphy's took me right back to the 1970s.First was Lou Gramm, ex-lead singer for Foreigner (the band have the name with a new lead singer). His voice was about 80% and he looked puffy like he'd been drinking too much for a long time. Sounded good, though.
Then Bad Company with Paul Rogers, one of rock's most distinctive vocalists, and Mick Ralphs on lead guitar. Rogers sounded 100%, was slim and in shape liked he does 20mi on his bike daily. Ralphs (pictured with Rogers above him) played great. Simon Kirke on drums.
