If it wasn't for the audio cassette, I wouldn't have preserved all the concerts fromr the '70s and '80s from sources such as NPR's "Jazz Alive!" (most of which I've transferred over the last couple of years to CDR).It's unfortunate that Dolby S was not developed until the audio cassette format was in decline...
