I mentioned this in a past thread, and I've given the cd a few plays, but still cannot get into it. I've already stored it away among those cds that I won't listen to for a long time.Sometimes a band takes a chance in trying out new ideas, and it may or may not work for them. As an exmple, take the Maverick's 'Trampoline'. It was quite a departure from their previous work which was mostly country. It was also a critical success, and I love it...so much so that it still remains in my listening rotation since its release in '98. IMHO, it's a masterpiece. Listening to it makes me feel good. Unfortunately, it wasn't a big seller for the band.
YHF, on the other hand, sounds depressing, so off it goes to cd limbo. To each his own!
Happy listening! RR
