Edta posted a good one asking about one's funeral music. Just for fun(?), let's go back a little earlier. If you were about to expire and were fortunate enough to be able to pick the music you were listening to before the doctor made his final pronouncement, what would it be?I've often thought it would be the "Donna nobis pacem" from Bach's "Mass in B minor". Some of the most serene and comforting music these ears have ever been blessed to hear. Second choice might be "Blanziflor et Helena" from "Carmina Burana", although I'd have to kack quickly because it's very short. I doubt I'd be in the mood for Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't Fear the Reaper".
Too much time on my hands but still curious.
