The title is mis-leading as it is not a live album but a performance of material long in duration. It's Frankie's best non-live Reprise album. It could have easily been the blueprint for Barbara Streisand's Broadway album many years later. If you look for one, try to get a first pressing as the recording was orignally on 35mm film. The original cover was also a gatefold. Subsequent releases sounded like they were made using safety's of the 35mm film and sounded a bit distorted. The gatefold cover was also disposed of but not the mention of the 35mm recording on the back. All in all Nelson Riddle, Frank Sinatra, outstanding material and recording. Hard to beat.
