This is one of few Dvorak works I cannot give a recommendation to Szell. But the nod goes to another Cleveland music director- Christoph von Dohnanyi. Although I've heard him do this even better on broadcasts, it is the best recorded performance I've heard. (This is one of *very* few CD recordings that *really* captures what I call the "million-dollar sound" the Cleveland Orchestra once had.)
