That would have been my attitude IF the Argentinians had lost with good grace; unfortunately we all saw certain Argentinians refuse to swap shirts after the match, and during a Paul Scoles interview another certain Argentinian walked past and muttered `English Bastard`.Factor in that four years ago the Argentinians were banging on the English team coach laughing and jeering after their win (hence our Mr Sinclair boarding the Argentinian coach this week....by mistake of course), and it adds up to a lack of sympathy for the Argentinian teams early trip home.
Seeing as this is music forum after all, it`s pertinant to mention that some english newspaper paid for a live rendition of `Don`t Cry For Me Argentina` to be loudly repeated ad infinitum in the Argentinians` hotel foyer the evening of the England win - something I couldn`t possibly condone......
