Of the ones you mention I have the following and can comment on;
Albert Collins-frozen alive,Showdown.Great stuff, especially Showdown where he stars with Robert Cray and Johnny Copeland.
Robert Cray-I have a couple by him but they do not get much play.too smoooth for me.
Lonnie Brooks-i have one lp by him that never gets played.
Anson Funderburgh-Same as Lonnie.
Buddy guy-Seet Tea and Damn Right I've Got The Blues. Both should be on yer list.
Johnny Winter-Just buy em all.
Duke Robillard-An old fav.Try to find his Duke Robillard and the Pleasure Kings debut lp on Rounder Records.I'm sure it's on cd.I also have You Got Me with Dr.John.Also look for these
James Harmen-great harp player/singer that usually surrounds himself with talent.I still enjoy his debut effort on Rhino Records,Those Dangerous Gentlemen.Or perhaps Live In 85.They both may be OOP but worth looking for.
Ron Thompson And The Resistors-A usually unheard of,but very talented string bender.I have Treat Her Like Gold and Resister Twister.
Lil Ed And The Blues Imperials-I like his debut lp Roughhousin.
Ronnie Earl-Quite an exstesive catalog.I like all of it but still spin this one the most.Smokin with Kim Wilson and Sugar Ray.
Sonny Landreth-South Of I-10
Albert King-Blues At Sunrise.
John Campbell-Howling Mercy and One Believer.Swampy and eerie.I like him a lot.
Ry Cooder-Of course you could try Crossroads. It's ok,but try looking for this.Ry Cooder Live.a six song EP from Warner Brothers.Hard to find, mines a German inport, but worth the hunt.
John Lee Hooker/Chill Out-Can't forget this cat.
I have much more but it's
time to watch the Red Wings
Bluze on my friend
