No, MFSL nor ANY other record label, since Apple gained the ability to regulate releases, has made a Beatles CD. Capitol has been haphazard and weak on their handling of the Beatles catalog. I have a few MFSL originals (Rubber Soul, White Album, Abbey Road) and they are good but frankly out of date. The technology used be MFSL was great but it has been obviously surpassed. I have made better remasters with my own recording equipment using certain mixing/mastering techniques. Nevertheless, the MFSL CDs you are seeing are indeed bootlegs, check out www.bootlegzone.com and look in their Beatles section and you will see all the Dr. Ebbets MFSL fakes. I have a all of the ones he has made and the packaging is pretty cool, and the disc may be a bit better sonically than their official Capitol standard CD relase counterparts. For the best sounding Beatles check out the Yellow Sub DVD or get some good digital equipment and mixing equipment and make your own remixes and remasters. I still prefer the sound of my original 60s Beatles vinyl :-D Good luck and happy Beatle listening!
