It's all about the music, dude! Sit down, relax and listen to some tunes.

The vast treasure trove of music out there.

Recently had an ER experience. I guess, I'm ok, just getting older and slower. And thankful for the bodily functions that still function.

Still, now as I listen to Perlman and Zuckerman playing Mozart duos, I realize how I've really just begun to chart the territory of wonderful music after 44 years of critical listening to all kinds of music.

What could I say about this? Would I want to give my top 100, 200, 500? I guess, we are extremely lucky. We have all this great music of the past available.

When I was a kid I despised big band and stuff like Mario Lanza. With a bit of aging I can relate to some of the magic there.

I'm at a bit of low point, right now with the state of digital flux, etc with the attendant bull from magazines, reviewers and advertisers.

Still I don't curse CDs because of the wonderful reissues which have emerged. Not just the rock stuff of my youth, but the treasures of the previous LP (50's) and 78 eras.
