When, truly, were these recordings made? I own the two CD set, still in the catalog, of the complete Rhapsodies made in France (Salle Wagram) in the late 1950's. These are in mono, and sound very good indeed. There is also a recording of the Transcendental Etudes made at the same time that is just as definitive, if you can find it (OOP).This review is confusing with regard to the recording dates. It talks about the early 1970's, and then points to the Paris recording sessions...
