The new Marisa Monte CD - "Memories, etc..." The title is in Portuguese, and I don't remember all of it, but the first word is "Memorias".Like many Brazilian records it had some "easy-listening" moments, but by and large it's a stunner. Someone on this board once said that Monte's voice was like another instrument, and I'm inclined to agree.
