I love Eva, so I picked this CD up. What happened? The songs are just dreadful 3rd rate Cxxp! Eva has no chance to show off her wonderful voice. The album cover says year 2000, but this has to be EARLY stuff. The liner notes say this was part of "session singing." I also noted much worse sonics (BRIGHT) compared to her other albums and that the record company is different from her other albums. Someone trying to cash in on her new fame? I dunno...One question for those who have "Live at Blues Alley" or other albums. I have "Songbird" and "Time after Time," and I noticed on "Time after Time" that a couple fo songs are sung "live at Blues Alley." Are there song overlaps between the albums I have and her other albums I'm about to get?
