Dirk,Did I ever listen to Szell's LvB 9th??? Yes, three times within 24 hours...I've never done that before! It's now among my top three choices. Thanks to your recommendation, I found an original EPIC Stereorama pressing -only a notch below the sonic standards of Decca, EMI, Merc, RCA of the era, IMO.
As I recall, you have the complete set of Szell LvB 9 Symphonies. Of course, I now have #8, too. But what about 1-7, any others notable in your opinion?
It'll be great if sometime you recommend more vinyl right here on Music Lane -new post.
