with the LPO doing some excerpts (I think, knowing as little as I do of opera) from Verdi and Puccini.Usually when I make a completely random selection the odds are not in my favor of getting a valuable recording.
This, however, is quite listenable. And, after I got it home I see that it has Puccini's "O mio babbino caro" which I recently heard and liked.
