Hi - a djembe (pronounced jemby) is an african drum. There's a craze over here (Toulouse, France) and on a hot day, across the river, neo-4th-generation-hippies can be heard from dawn 'til dusk, practising. I guess a well rehearsed orchestra could be interesting!
