Hi,
the late Marshall Dodge is a classic. Rural Mainers are a clannish bunch. If they like you, they might let your kids talk to their kids, but only if you have the kids here.
So the idea of a New Yawker coming to Maine, creating Maine based stand up comedy, and being liked by the natives is ridiculous. We didn't like him, we fell in love with the guy.
Bought a couple of old Bert and I lps at my top secret vinyl store Saturday; it was wonderful hearing his voice again.
