meta,You're a thoughtful and articulate advocate for SACD. Thanks for sharing your views. May the best man win - DVD(DAD) vs. SACD, or whatever. The winner will eventually displace CD as 'the' source for 'new' music, but I doubt it will ever replace or equal the quantity/quality of my [mostly original 1950s-60s classical and jazz] LP collection [including "audiophile" reissues from Analogue Productions, Classic Records, EMI/Testament, etc.].
