looks aren't what we are after, mister! :-)Seriously, when I first had a closer look at her in a TV interview, I thought, "damn, those fingers ain't no pianist's fingers". Now, I know. But Diana, to me, has a very appealing style and personality in her music and performance, not to mention the sexy photos on her albums. Did you see her play at the White House last year? The same is true about last night performance too; while the synergy isn't the greatest -- however, i wont judge on that until I see the whole concert on 09/16 here in NY -- she showed her personality and style. It's a good thing that she seemed comfy up there. In the past, Krall wasn't as good in front of a big crowd.
She was honest enough to explicitly give credits to the make-up artists on the album "When I look into your eyes", which I thought to be interesting.
