For jazz I recommend the excellent www.earlyrecords.com run by Hiroshi Tanno. If you're interested in excellent service and expert knowledge on the subject, this is the place to go.He specializes in vinyl, but the site has a cd stocklist as well, mostly with recent classic jazz reissues (on the vintage labels like blue note, prestige, verve, etc.) and used cd's at great prices, even for titles that are OOP. And you can order anything that's obtainable in japan. You pay the exchange rate on the actual Yen price on the japanese market. For example a blue note 24bit RVG remastering in miniature lp sleeve costs 2500Yen in japan, so wherever you are located, you pay this price in your own currency, with some airmail cost added. In japan credit card payment is not popular for smaller businesses because of the cost, so you will have to resort to the International Postal Money Order. No big deal if there's a post office nearby.
