I'll try not to sound like lummy here, but regardless in the early 1990s I had just started high school. I had convinced my parents to get me a computer and shortly thereafter a 14.4k modem in my freshman year, well that was when I started going down hill. Probably the worst decision my parent's could have made. Typical rebellion of a teenager which lasts with me even to this day, although it seems unique me and my friends found a common love of the computer and the hacker subculture at the time.

Add tracks like this one from Scorn to our all day and all night sessions I have to say not many people can define their early 90s upbringing like that. The others were either listening to Metallica wearing black or Rap wearing red pants. cyberpunk or technopagan or something like that we were, we all wore black trench coats. it did start going down hill fast once I met my group of friends who liked this music, introduced me to the modem before the internet was public and this is a crazy blast from the past for me.

Something as simple as listening to this song brings back lots of memories, and not able to have my youth put into a particular popular culture box brings a smile to my face.
