Classic Records vs. Acoustic Sounds

Recently a Classic Record pressing of Ernest Ansermet's "The Royal Ballet" RCA Living Stereo went for $1,200 on ebay.The Acoustic Sounds pressing goes for $75 even though Michael Fremer's review was excellent.

Does this make any sense?
