I took a Santana No. 1 ("Same") LP Japanese-made LP record (CBS/Sony 15AP 620, released in 1977) for audition. It sounds flat and uninvolving with one amp/turntable combination and sounds marvellous with the other.

I wonder whether new reissues sound as good. I read mixed reviews of MFSB reissue on Acoustic Sounds web-site, but there are also Sundazed and Sony Legacy reissues. Is anyone familiar with these?
